The brilliant Mexican architect Jose de Yturbe was the driving force behind La Loma Resort from Polaris World; a truly unique resort. The minimalist structure of the walls, constant play of light and shadow, use of water for decoration and to enhance relaxation and the open spaces of the homes all blend together to create a modern, practical atmosphere.

The town centre is constructed around a spectacular arched open plaza, in the shape of a guitar. The neck of the guitar is formed by a stairway which runs down under water to a waterfall that connects to the central fountain in the square. Facilities include:
